Honkai Star Rail will be getting its version 3.0 expansion, “Paean of Era Nova,” on January 15, 2025. MiHoyo’s turn-based Gacha JRPG will give players the opportunity to explore the new world of Amphoreus, defeat Titans, reclaim Coreflames, and adventure with the Chrysos Heirs starting this Wednesday.
As usual, the new expansion will unveil a new chapter in Honkai Star Rail’s trailblazing story, set in the aforementioned new world of Amphoreus. This new mission will be released in two parts across eight versions up until version 3.7, treating fans to an epic story arc.
Not to be overshadowed, players will also be able to pull for the new playable characters that arrive in this update – Aglaea, and The Herta, and unlock a new form of the Trailblazer: Remembrance.
The new world of Amphoreus that players will explore in the Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 update is a world that does not know about the Aeons. The mysterious new world appears as a chaotic vortex from the outside, reflecting the world’s distinctness compared to the other worlds players have seen before. Without Aeons, the inhabitants of Amphoreus worship Titans instead, and players will have the chance to go toe-to-toe against these celestial beings very soon.
Players can hop into Honkai Star Rail’s newest story so long as they’ve reached the prerequisite point in the main story. To help players progress through new content, a special Warp event will also be coming during the first half of Version 3.0 with re-runs for Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade. In the second half, Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf will be having their own re-runs. This presents the perfect time for players to gain new Eidolon tiers for their existing party members. As an added bonus, March 7th will get a new Preservation Outfit, claiming just by simply logging in during the Version 3.0 period.
