Sultan's Game

Draw one card each week from the dark decks of Carnality, Extravagance, Conquer, and Bloodshed to determine what you need to do to survive in this rich, immersive card-based RPG Sultan’s Game inspired by One Thousand and One Nights.

In this game, you play as the Sultan’s subject cruelly involved in a game of life and death. You have to fulfill the tasks given to you by the Sultan’s Game – each task’s difficulty and nature are dictated by the tier and type of card you draw from a deck of 28 cards. In this game, life is cheap, and you are constantly asked to choose between your life or others, as to complete the tasks of Sultan’s Game, you’ll have to kill, dominate, conquer, and squander resources, and other people around you.

For each task, you have seven days to complete through any means necessary, otherwise the Sultan will order your execution.

Your day-to-day life will involve you keeping appearances in court as one of the Sultan’s subjects, managing your estate, preparing for your tasks, and involving yourself in various intrigues around the Sultan’s domain. Fail to keep up with court intrigue and the Sultan will add more cruel tasks for you to accomplish on top of what’s already asked for by the cards. The game challenges you to strategically manage your resources and your allies in an effort to keep your head between your shoulders.

Sultan’s Game is a very strategic text-based and narrative-heavy game that also involves a lot of luck to complete. A very challenging but also thought-provoking game with hand-drawn stylized aesthetics, Sultan’s Game is for people who love to challenge their Solitaire skills. Will you be able to spend your seven days to complete your tasks tactically, or will you run out of options and time? How fast can you complete all 28 cards?

Thankfully, players will be able to try their hand in this dark card-based role-playing game intended for mature audiences once the game arrives on March 31, 2025, its release date. Those who can’t wait any further can try their hand at the game’s demo, currently available on Steam.
