Wartales’ latest DLC, The Beast Hunt, arrived yesterday, April 29, and came along with a substantial update that introduced a ton of new content to the base game, but no DLC was required.
Wartales: The Beast Hunt DLC introduces a new region, Brigga, dedicated to beasts and beastmasters, complete with its own storylines, quests, towns, and NPCs. Legendary beasts also roam this new region, and players are encouraged to hunt these down for spoils and glory. After conquering The Beast, join the Trackers to defeat the powerful brute in new phases and locations across Brigga.
Apart from vicious and savage beasts, players will also encounter the other supernatural creatures known as the Ghost Pack. Players will gain access to new animal companions, but the Beast’s dark influence can turn them against the party if they’re not careful.
The Beast Hunt will be accompanied by a massive patch for Wartales’ base game, adding Fierce Animal units as well as the new Huntsman profession for all players, no DLC required. Make use of powerful new animal units with distinct passive abilities to gain the upper hand in challenging combat encounters, in addition to a host of fresh updates, improvements, and quality of life enhancements.Â
Wartales The Beast Hunt is out now on Steam, GOG.com, and Gamesplanet for $12.99.
