Pokemon from the Alolan region will be arriving on Pokemon TCG Pocket for the first time in this new expansion, scheduled to be released on April 30, 2025.
The new expansion will add 200+ new cards to Pokemon TCG Pocket, becoming the third main expansion set for the mobile digital trading card game. Legendary Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala headline this new set, and fans can also look forward to opening packs with Alolan version of Pokemon cards in them. A Trainer card for Lillie will be the first Immersive Supporter Card available in the game.
Similar to other previous expansions, the Celestial Guardians set comes with its own drop event, special missions, and new accessories available in the shop. Specifically, from Tuesday, April 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT to Monday, May 12 at 10:59 p.m. PDT, players can take on special solo battles to obtain new promo cards, including one featuring Rayquaza ex. In addition, players will be able to participate in special missions for an opportunity to receive a different Rayquaza ex promo card as well as various new accessories and other rewards.
These special missions will be playable from Tuesday, April 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT to Wednesday, May 28 at 10:59 p.m. PDT.
