VDIGM, a South Korean Startup, launched a Kickstarter campaign for their TIH platform. Short for “Talk, Interact, Humanize,” TIH boasts itself as the first camera-based AI motion tracking service with instant avatar creation making it perfect for creators.
Talk, Interact, Humanize
The TIH is described by VDIGM as “an all-in-one platform that empowers anyone to generate, animate, and stream a full-body responsive 3D avatar using just a camera. This means that with TIH, streamers will be able to ditch suits and sensors.
This platform is designed for indie VTubers specifically. According to VDIGM, the Kickstarter will fund the final development stage as well as community testing and the expansion of core features. They are aiming for a full release of the platform in Winter 2025. It is currently in its Alpha phase, and early access is planned for Autumn.
TIH represents the culmination of the technologies and ideas we’ve developed since founding VDIGM. Our mission is to make avatar technology accessible and intuitive for everyone — not just for professionals. With TIH, we aim to redefine digital identity and human connection in the virtual world,
— Youngwan Kim, CEO of Vdigm & former senior computer scientist at Samsung.
What can TIH do?
Its biggest selling point is its ability to mirror your movement and translate that into your avatar’s, using only a webcam or a smartphone camera. It can also make personalized 3D avatars using just one picture, and you can customize them with various outfits, props, and place them in sets.
TIH has a lot of AI integrated within its many features. You AI avatar can be trained to have a personality, behavior, and voice. They also have “AI NPC co-hosts” who can interact and engage with fans.
